My Story

Hi, I'm Kat.

As a mother of many offspring, cooking and baking have been a huge part of my life for a very long time. Even before I was married, if someone asked for a treat or special dish I would volunteer and figure out how to make it. When my parents and my in-laws-to-be met for the first time, I spent a week cultivating my own sourdough starter so I could make home-baked sourdough to go with our meal. In the kitchen I am at home.

I home schooled 5 of our 6 six children and did in-home childcare. When my last client went to pre-school and my children neared the end of their high school careers, I made the decision to dive in and start my own baking business. In October 2014, I became licensed to sell products prepared in my home kitchen direct to consumers.

This business has undergone many metamorphoses and I hope it will continue to grow and change for many years to come.
